Bespoke CNC Wall Panelling for Pearl Redesigns

We recently worked with Interior Designer Maggie from Pearl Redesigns to create a bespoke set of wall panelling for her room set at the Love Your Home show in Belfast.

The brief was to design feature wall panelling that would not only add depth and texture but also provide a unique way to display wallpaper. Maggie’s concept combined reeded detailing, curved edges, and inset sections for wallpaper—creating a layered and visually interesting backdrop that tied in with the rest of her set design.

We used Moisture Resistant MDF for its stability and high-quality finish, and CNC routed the reeded and curved details. CNC was the ideal solution here—it allowed us to achieve clean, consistent detailing that would have been challenging and time-consuming to create by hand.

The wall panels were designed to frame wallpaper inserts, it’s a simple but highly effective way to add texture to a feature wall while showcasing wallpaper in a more architectural context.

Pearl Redesigns feedback from the show was really positive, and the full room set designed by Maggie stood out for its character, warmth, and attention to detail. The wall panelling became a strong feature within the space, supporting the overall design without overwhelming it.

This collaboration highlights how CNC solutions can play a key role in bringing design-led concepts to life—offering precise, practical solutions that support creative industries to achieve unique detailed design features.
